Aion is a weird beast because it has been out in Asia for so long. With a few navigable hoops a determined NA player can already play the live game. This does affect marketing strategy.

ArenaNet also has to be careful because they don't want dead-booth / dead-game syndrome, especially in their own backyard.

For those reasons, I don't really buy the Aion launch = no PAX GW2 info.

NCSoft’ s booth isn’t attracting many visitors, and no one is playing Guild Wars.
^Ouch. I'm sure NCSoft will have a lot of visitors this year. But, unless Anet is showing something big, it'll be empty again.

Not really surprising, they haven't had anything new to show for the past 2 years (3 if there's no gw2 news this time round). people attending PAX will want to see up and coming titles, not old stale games.
